Introducing the Future of Rail at Trainline
The Future of Rail theme combines our Future Ticketing and Trainline Partner Solutions teams. The Future Ticketing teams operate on the bleeding-edge of travel technology, testing, evaluating, trialling, and launching industry innovations that become core to Trainline’s B2C and B2B experiences. We develop app-based, friction-free ticketing solutions (like our recently launched DPAYG solution) that make innovative use of location data and contactless technology. The mission behind these ticketing innovations is to reduce friction for rail customers, create competitive advantage, and ultimately to drive modal shift to greener travel options.
