We’re looking for a proactive and collaborative CRM Campaign Manager to join our CRM Campaigns team, focusing on the French market. This role is ideal for someone with a solid understanding of CRM principles, who is passionate about customer retention and driving commercial impact through well‑planned, data‑informed campaigns. You will play a key part in shaping and executing CRM strategies by working closely with multiple stakeholders across Commercial, Marketing, and Data. While this role is less hands‑on technically, you will be responsible for planning, ideating, and managing CRM campaigns, ensuring clear communication and alignment between the teams within the CRM function. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a fast‑growing, dynamic environment where your strategic thinking and stakeholder management skills will directly influence customer engagement, retention and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the CRM Operations and CRM Tech teams to deliver highly engaging communications & journeys using email, push and in‑app messaging focused on the French market.
- Develop and manage the CRM campaign roadmap, working with key stakeholders across the Commercial team to align CRM plans with broader business goals.
- Manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively while maintaining clear and proactive communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Write detailed briefs to direct copy, design, segmentation, testing and personalisation.
- Lead on CRM projects within the team, managing the outcomes and communication within and outside the team.
- Support the continuous improvement of our CRM strategy by implementing impactful tests within campaigns and contributing ideas that drive optimisation.
- Report on campaign performance, pulling together data from multiple sources to give a complete view of effectiveness.
- Work with the CRM Analyst to understand more detailed performance, insights and implement improvements where needed.
- Use insights and learnings to build plans for continuously improved communications.
- Maintain detailed documentation of campaign plans, processes, and outcomes to support team alignment and knowledge sharing.
Knowledge & Experience
- Experience working within a CRM function in a fast‑paced environment, ideally with exposure to email, push and in‑app message formats.
- Solid understanding of CRM and retention concepts and how they integrate within broader marketing plans.
- Familiarity with major CRM platforms such as Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or Adobe Campaign is a plus, though hands‑on experience is not mandatory.
- Comfortable working in campaign planning and ideation rather than hands‑on technical execution.
- Passionate about customer retention and delivering engaging, relevant customer communications.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills across functions.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and an understanding of the importance of quality.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑changing, multi‑location team environment with multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
- Able to deliver under pressure.
- Intellectually curious, passionate and always looking for new opportunities.
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently to meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and experience ongoing personal growth.
- Enthusiastic, energetic, and creative. Likes to bring ideas to the table.
- French language skills are desirable but not essential; a good understanding of the French market is beneficial.
Benefits
Enjoy fantastic perks like private healthcare & dental insurance, a generous work‑from‑abroad policy, 2‑for‑1 share purchase plans, an EV Scheme to further reduce carbon emissions, extra festive time off, and excellent family‑friendly benefits. We prioritise career growth with clear career paths, transparent pay bands, personal learning budgets and regular learning days. Jump on board and supercharge your career from day one! We operate a hybrid model and ask that Trainliners work from the office a minimum of 60% of their time over a 12‑week period. We also have a 28‑day Work from Abroad policy.
