As we continue to grow, a door of opportunity has opened for a highly motivated Account Manager to take charge of several mid-high-level accounts and drive TQUK’s success to new heights. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future growth of our organisation by managing existing partnerships and exceeding growth targets within your designated portfolio. This is a cross-functional role that values collaborative work with internal teams to ensure the entire customer experience is exceptional and nurtures long-lasting partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively use data to identify growth opportunities within your designated portfolio
  • Proactively secure customer meetings to pursue and win growth opportunities within your portfolio
  • Develop and implement sales initiatives, strategies and processes to meet and exceed company growth objectives, quarterly team and personal KPIs
  • Identify and act upon customer requirements, maximising opportunities for further growth through TQUK's range of products and services
  • Expertly utilise a consultative sales approach to engage with customers, understand their requirements, and propose tailored solutions
  • Accurately forecast and track key account predictions
  • Proficiently negotiate and finalise contracts, ensuring profitable pricing and terms
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on business development activities, progress, and results
  • Maintain accurate, comprehensive records of all activities within the CRM system
  • Capture and report intelligence that may inform our future Sales and Marketing campaigns

Other Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining an understanding of TQUK internal processes, especially those related to the customer journey.
  • Maintaining in-depth knowledge of TQUK products and services, competitors and the awarding and EPA industry overall
  • Maintaining an in-depth understanding of regulatory requirements associated with own area of work across Awarding and End-Point Assessment
  • Undertaking other duties considered within your skill and competence to assist the smooth running of the business as required
  • Championing the organisation's values at all times to model behaviours to wider team staff.

Key Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in business development, preferably within the education or training provider industry
  • Experience in working under pressure and comfortable working against defined targets and KPIs set
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
  • Accurate pipeline management
  • Be organised and able to prioritise your workload
  • Have an analytical mindset, with the ability to gather and interpret market data and trends to define strategic direction and growth within your area
  • Have a proven track record, with demonstrable successes of account management
