We are now looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to join the expanding L&D team to support delivery on that commitment.
You will support the development and delivery of learning and development solutions across the Company, with specific responsibility for some of the programs such as the high potential program. You will also support with the introduction of several new programmes of learning. You will be joining a growing and vibrant team who work tirelessly to ensure TQUK is a great place for employees to both work and develop. We pride ourselves on the continuous development of staff; to enable them to provide the excellent products and services we deliver to all our external customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Training Needs Analysis & Solutions
- Identify and determine internal staff training needs.
- Identify training solutions and source training from external providers as required.
- Act as a central point of contact for all employee training queries.
- Coordinate and set up apprenticeships with training providers.
- Design, Development & Delivery
- Lead the development of Company-wide training and support managers across the business in designing training for their own departments.
- Lead the delivery of Company-wide training and coach/support managers to ensure effective delivery of departmental training.
- Support the content design, delivery, and ongoing review of the comprehensive induction programme, ensuring it remains fit for purpose and effective.
- Lead the ongoing content development, delivery, coordination, and review of: Management Development Programme, High Potential Development Programme.
- Support managers with the development of training identified within the Company Training Matrix.
- Proactively support the ongoing content development, coordination/scheduling of sessions, and evaluation of effectiveness.
- Support the L&D Manager with the introduction of new initiatives such as a mentoring programme, Passport to Recruit, and Passport to Manage.
- Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
- Lead the evaluation of training (e.g., induction) and introduce mechanisms to measure the effectiveness of all training delivered across the business.
- Support the use and effectiveness of TQUK’s qualifications, monitoring progress and outcomes.
- Produce periodic reports for the L&D Manager, Heads of Pillar, and other managers, using insights to inform planning.
- Development & Career Progression
- Support the L&D Manager with the development of tools for career planning and succession planning, ensuring opportunities for growth and progression are available to all employees.
- Provide coaching sessions for managers and employees participating in the High Potential Programme.
- Learning Management System (LMS) Ownership
- Lead the day-to-day management of the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring it is fully optimised.
- Add new content, configure system changes, schedule training, create new programmes, and produce reports.
- Provide support at a group level as required.
- Employee Engagement & Collaboration
- Support the People Services Team with ongoing employee engagement initiatives (currently Gallup).
- Work with the HR Manager and People Coordinators to ensure training is delivered as scheduled and accurate training records are maintained.
- Model TQUK behaviours by demonstrating courtesy, a commitment to learning, and prioritising the team above self.
- Other Responsibilities
- Maintain in depth knowledge of TQUK products and services.
- Maintain an in depth understanding of regulatory requirements associated with own area of work.
- Liaise with other departments to identify where training can have a positive impact.
- Work to improve and streamline processes and integrate the outcomes of your own work.
- Undertake other duties considered within your skill and competence to assist the smooth running of the business as required.
- Champion the organisation values at all times to model behaviours to wider team staff.
Key Requirements
- Minimum of three years’ experience of working in a similar role.
- Experience of end-to-end training development and implementation.
- Proven experience of introducing new programmes of training.
- CIPD qualified level 5 or above or a similar qualification is desirable.
- Experience of using a range of dynamic training tools, LMS systems and training platforms.
- Coaching qualification such as International Coaching Federation (ICF) or equivalent.
- Experience of or ideally trained in using psychometric profiling tools such as Insights, Belbin etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organisation and prioritisation skills.
- Ideally some project management experience.
- Ability to work autonomously.
