Training Qualifications UK (TQUK) is seeking multiple experienced subject matter experts to write and review high-quality sample assessments for Level 2 & Level 3 qualifications.
The subject areas we are recruiting for are:
- Law
- Accounting & Finance
- Business Administration
- Digital Administration
- Management, Procurement & Supply Chain
- Marketing & Retail
- Business Administration & Law
This is a remote, freelance role that can be undertaken flexibly alongside other professional commitments, including during evenings and weekends. Occasional meetings with TQUK will take place between the hours of 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Write and/or review assessments (question papers and mark schemes) in line with the relevant qualification specification
- Follow the assessment brief and construct provided by TQUK Assessment Developers
- Ensure assessments are valid, fair and reliable and adhere to regulatory requirements
- Attend meetings, via Microsoft Teams, throughout the development process
Experience & Skills
Candidates must have:
- A subject-related undergraduate degree and/ or relevant professional qualification
- Teaching experience in the relevant subject area
- Experience of writing and/or reviewing assessment materials for awarding organisations
- Relevant industry experience in the subject area
- Current and relevant knowledge of the subject area
- The ability to write assessments in line with a brief and assessment construct
- The ability to receive constructive feedback and incorporate this into draft assessments
- The ability to meet deadlines and work to required project timelines
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Good IT skills and confidence using SharePoint and Microsoft Teams
