What’s the secret to our success? Simply put, we do things differently here! Following expansion, a brand new and exciting opportunity has emerged in our growing Marketing and Communications Team. We are looking for a vibrant Events and Partnerships Officer to join our team. This role is perfect for a dynamic creative thinker who thrives under pressure and is comfortable working with multiple stakeholders to deliver impactful, engaging and measurable event experiences.
As the Events and Partnerships Officer, you’ll be responsible for organising our attendance at industry events and forums, and maximising our memberships of local and national industry networking groups. From creating exhibition stands and coordinating event attendance to hosting our webinars, maximising memberships and providing marketing support to our key partners, you will ensure TQUK is visible, influential, and delivering value to our partners.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Event Management
- Sourcing and Setup: Research and secure attendance at key industry trade shows, conferences, partnership networks, and awards shows.
- Logistics: Work with the Marketing and Communications Team - alongside other internal and external stakeholders - to manage delivery from initial stand design to on-site setup.
- Post-Event Reporting: Analyse event performance, including lead generation, lead conversion, and brand reach, using resulting insights to determine future participation, approaches and strategies.
- Strategic Partnerships: Act as the primary point of contact for our membership of key sector bodies, maximising the benefits we receive (for example, advertising opportunities, speaking slots) to drive measurable growth.
- Engagement: Build our visibility and credibility within the sector by coordinating attendance at conferences, forums and workshops organised by key sector bodies.
- Awards Submission: Work with the Marketing and Communications Team to research, write, and send submissions that win us industry awards.
- Joint Marketing: Collaborate with TQUK’s strategic partners on co-branded marketing initiatives, ensuring they feel supported and that our brand is represented accurately in their channels.
- Relationship Management: Act as the core point of contact for strategic partners, providing consultative insight that can help promote mutual growth.
- Opportunity Sourcing: Proactively identify sponsorship opportunities that align with TQUK’s strategic goals and help us grow brand visibility among new and existing audiences.
- Operational Delivery: Work closely with the Marketing and Communications Team, alongside other internal and external stakeholders, to organise the delivery of relevant assets (logos, ads, copy).
- Performance Tracking: Use reporting dashboards to measure the ROI and efficacy of each sponsorship, using data-led decisions to ensure we invest only in what works.
- Planning and Scheduling: Collaborate with colleagues across the business to create and maintain a schedule for internal and external webinars.
- Production and Delivery: Oversee the end-to-end setup (platform management, registration pages, recording) of all webinars and work with the Marketing and Communications Team to deliver impactful webinars that drive sign-ups and ongoing engagement.
- Hosting: Act as the regular host of webinars, creating a familiar, welcoming and knowledgeable face for the content.
- Stock Management: Order, track, and manage all merchandise and physical collateral, including brochures, flyers, and booklets.
- Quality Control: Liaise with printers and suppliers to ensure all physical materials meet our high quality standards and brand guidelines.
Key Requirements
- 1-2 years in an event-based marketing role (or relevant marketing qualifications/degree).
- Experience using Microsoft Teams webinar functionality for webinar delivery, as well as reporting tools such as HubSpot and Google Analytics.
- Experience of working with content creators, designers and other creative colleagues to deliver merchandise and collateral.
- Experience of managing multiple internal and external stakeholders to deliver event attendance, often to tight deadlines.
