Student Finance Officer

Job Summary
We are seeking an experience, detail-oriented Student Finance Officer to join our team.

You will be responsible for working with student funding providers including GMCA to facilitate the provision on funding for students undertakings level 2, 3 , 4 & 5 courses.

You will also work to access funding for the provision of community focused courses seeking financial provision from organisations such as the National Lottery.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for funding applications including Adult Education Budget & Advanced learner loans.
• Assist students with their funding applications.
• Manage the compliance and reporting for funding providers.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth financial operations across the organisation.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with student finding bodies.
• Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Relevant experience in finance or accounting roles is preferred.
• A recognised qualification in finance or accounting will be advantageous but is not essential.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £15,000.00-£20,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 3 – 5 per week
