We are Victory Signs (Newcastle) Ltd, a leading engraving and sign manufacturer based in Cramlington, North East England, celebrating 25 years of quality workmanship. We are recruiting a Mechanical Engineering Apprentice to join our skilled engraving team as part of a Level 2 Engineering Operative Apprenticeship.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn to operate engraving machinery and produce high‑quality engraved items.
- Assist experienced engravers in production tasks and maintain equipment.
- Follow safety and quality procedures and contribute to continuous improvement.
Training & Qualifications
As part of an 18‑month apprenticeship you will gain a Level 2 diploma and Level 2 certificate in engineering operations.
Career Progression
Upon completion you may pursue further qualifications, develop management and leadership skills, or move into other areas of the business.

Qualifications
Applicants must have 4 GCSEs (A–C) or equivalent, including Maths, English and preferably a Science subject.
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 08:30 – 17:00
- Friday: 08:30 – 12:30
