Job Description
- Advertising new apprenticeships on a variety of portals in a timely fashion
- Reviewing and sifting applications
- Providing information, advice and guidance to candidates
- Matching a role, company and candidate on suitability and compatibility
- Conducting telephone / Teams 1st stage interviews & assessments
- Getting candidates interview ready
- Providing shortlists to the client companies
- Arranging company interviews
- Arranging and possibly attending assessment days at company sites
- Gaining feedback from both companies and candidates
- Making offers, and providing regrets with feedback
- Working to tight deadlines
- Demonstrating ability to work on multiple roles at the same time
- Working flexibly, this may include evenings, open days, parents’ evenings and possibly weekends
- This role will be fast paced, and busy, with an emphasis on accurate data entry
Person Specification
- Previous administration and recruitment experience would be highly advantageous
- Highly motivated and have a willingness to learn
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to contribute to the group and work as part of a close-knit team
- Demonstrable excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Interest in engineering apprenticeships
- Organisation skills
- Ability to work independently with the support of the Head of Recruitment
- Able to use own initiative
- Some IT skills would be beneficial
