There are 3 Junior Clinical Fellow posts available from 5th August 2026. The post will involve weekday clinical sessions and a 1:6 on-call rota. This post aims to provide training and development in clinical urology. The timetable can be tailored to optimise the candidate’s chance of success at national selection for core surgical or specialty training.
In accordance with Health Board principles regarding Clinical Fellow appointments, posts are offered for a period of 12 months in the first instance, but may be extendable up to a maximum of 24 months by mutual agreement.

- Qualifications
- Current GMC certificate with a licence to practise
- Training in Radiation Protection or agreement to attend next available course
- Previous Experience
- Completion of Foundation training
- Experience of dealing with Urological emergencies
- Previous experience of working in a Urology Department (minimum of 4 months)

- Demonstrable skills in written and spoken English adequate to enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues
