Job overview

There are 3 Junior Clinical Fellow posts available from 5th August 2026. The post will involve weekday clinical sessions and a 1:6 on-call rota. This post aims to provide training and development in clinical urology. The timetable can be tailored to optimise the candidate’s chance of success at national selection for core surgical or specialty training. Notes: Clinical Fellow and Clinical Research Fellow appointments are not educationally approved for training purposes and therefore do not attract a National Training Number. Posts, however, offer excellent specialty experience within a university teaching hospital setting. In accordance with Health Board principles regarding Clinical Fellow appointments, posts are offered for a period of 12 months in the first instance, but may be extendable up to a maximum of 24 months by mutual agreement.
