The Role: Want to be a part of our exciting growth journey?
We are looking for a talented, hands-on Sales Director (EMEA) who thrives in a player/coach environment. You will play a critical role in driving regional revenue growth by leading the Sales Development (SDR) and Account Executive (AE) team while also rolling up your sleeves and actively participating in the sales process as an Account Executive yourself.
You’ll coach, shadow, incentivize, and develop SDRs and AEs while personally contributing to pipeline generation and closing deals. You set the tone by doing the work, not just directing it — if your team isn’t winning, you’re not winning. Practically speaking you’ll own both the EMEA regional target, as well as an individual target within that.
The ideal candidate is someone who’s helped scale a SaaS business from $1M to $10M ARR and is hungry to do it again.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Lead and scale the EMEA SDR and AE team — coach, shadow, incentivize, and support daily execution with a hands-on, lead-by-example approach.
-
Actively contribute as an AE — owning pipeline, running demos, and closing deals alongside your team.
-
Foster a player/coach culture — modelling what great looks like while lifting others up around you.Collaborate with marketing, product, and leadership to align on go-to-market strategy and execution.
-
Report on sales performance and forecast with clarity and accuracy.
-
Identify gaps and opportunities in the funnel and build repeatable processes for scale.
-
Mentor team members with a strong focus on leadership development and long-term career growth.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Experience scaling a SaaS business from ~$1M to ~$10M ARR, ideally in EMEA markets, with the UK and Ireland being the primary markets in which you’ve driven success
-
Proven success as a team lead or frontline sales leader in a high-growth tech environment.
-
A natural player/coach — capable of doing the job at a high level while coaching others to do the same.
-
Deep understanding of outbound SaaS sales, SDR/AE collaboration, and CRM workflows.
-
High ownership mindset with a "my team's success is my success" approach.
-
Strong collaborator with an attitude embracing growth, hands-on execution, adaptability, and the scale-up spirit.
The Perks of Working at TRAILD
-
Flexibility: we offer a range of remote, hybrid and flexible working options.
-
Global team: we are growing across APAC, North America and EMEA and have team all across the globe.
-
We are growing at an exponential rate, this is an opportunity to get involved with a true rocketship with all the excitement and opportunities that comes with it
-
Our team genuinely loves working at TRAILD: we scored a 78 on our 2025 eNPS survey.
Please note that the final applicants for this job will be asked to consent in writing to a police check / criminal background check to the extent permitted by law in your jurisdiction of employment.
