As a Multi-Trades Operative within Trail Group, you will play a diverse and vital role in ensuring the functionality, safety, and compliance of client premises and sites. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for performing a range of general building and maintenance tasks, this could include:
- Execute general building and maintenance tasks across multiple trades, including carpentry, painting, and other tasks required for site preparation and enhancement.
- Install and fit electronic devices, ensuring proper functionality and compliance with relevant specifications and safety standards.
- Expertly fit fire doors, adhering to fire safety regulations and industry standards to enhance the overall safety of client premises.
- Prepare areas for the installation of fire doors and alarms, including assessing and addressing any necessary structural or aesthetic requirements.
- Perform painting tasks as needed to enhance the aesthetics and functionality of client premises, ensuring a high-quality finish.
- Ensure all tasks are carried out in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
- Make client premises and sites fit for purpose, considering the specific requirements and functionality needed for each project.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, project managers, and team members to contribute to the overall success of construction and fire protection projects.
- Address challenges and unforeseen issues promptly, demonstrating effective problem‑solving skills to ensure project continuity.
