Job Type: Part-Time - 14 hours per week working Saturday (10am-5.30pm) and Sunday (9.15am-4.45pm)

Salary: £12.71 per hour plus generous staff discount

Responsible to: Retail Store Manager

Role Summary: To work flexibly, undertaking retail and such other activities to maximise sales, business efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Relationships: Retail store management and colleagues

Key Responsibilities, Tasks and Activities:

  • Greeting customers who enter the store
  • Helping customers find the goods and products they are looking for
  • Pricing goods, stocking shelves and displaying merchandise
  • Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of all fixtures, equipment and fabric of the shop premises
  • Responsible for taking cash, card and finance payment
  • Advising on stock counts
  • Promoting special offers in-store
  • Handling complaints or passing them to a manager
  • Assisting the company and colleagues by carrying out such duties away from usual areas of work as may reasonably be required
  • Prepared to carry out arduous work, either physical or mental
  • Willing to take on reasonable additional responsibility as necessary

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Experience: Previous retail experience required

Skills & Qualifications: Good written and verbal communication skills
