Role Summary: To work flexibly, undertaking retail and such other activities to maximise sales, business efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Relationships: Retail store management and colleagues
Key Responsibilities, Tasks and Activities:
- Greeting customers who enter the store
- Helping customers find the goods and products they are looking for
- Pricing goods, stocking shelves and displaying merchandise
- Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of all fixtures, equipment and fabric of the shop premises
- Responsible for taking cash, card and finance payment
- Advising on stock counts
- Promoting special offers in-store
- Handling complaints or passing them to a manager
- Assisting the company and colleagues by carrying out such duties away from usual areas of work as may reasonably be required
- Prepared to carry out arduous work, either physical or mental
- Willing to take on reasonable additional responsibility as necessary
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Experience: Previous retail experience required
Skills & Qualifications: Good written and verbal communication skills
