About the Role
We have a fixed term Commissioning Support Officer to join the Working Age Adult Commissioning Team. The team sits within Trafford Council\’s Commissioning for Independence and Wellbeing Service.
As a Commissioning Support Officer, you will oversee the contract monitoring and quality assurance across supported living / residential homes in Trafford. You will also be involved in the full commissioning cycle; working collaboratively with key partners to identify need and gaps in service provision, support with procurement activity and analyse outcomes.
The successful candidate will be supported and developed by a small friendly team.

You will be passionate about working with care providers, to support them to deliver a high-quality service to people accessing their services.
You will have a good level of knowledge in the areas of social care, able to engage with several key stakeholders and have good project management skills.
You will keep up to date with the relevant regulations, policy and legislation relating to the adults’ social care sector.

Additional Information
Business Hours are Monday to Friday, between 8:30am and 4:30pm. Flexible working can be considered if agreed with your line manager.
There may be occasions you are expected to work outside of these hours.
You will have flexibility in terms of hybrid working at home and in the office (minimum of 2 days in the office, current team office day is a Tuesday)
Being a car driver is not essential for this role, however it would be beneficial as you are expected to visit care providers across the Trafford borough.
