Responsible to - Shift Manager Purpose of the role - To support the warehouse, Stock Rotation, Loading & unloading of HGV's and Replenishment of customer goods with the safe operation of Counterbalance trucks and use of hand scanners. Client brief - Our client is a world‑renowned warehousing organisation supporting blue‑chip companies with warehousing and distribution functions. The role - Our client is looking for Counterbalance Operators to support their existing team in their Ambient (room temperature) Warehousing Operation in Trafford Park. As a Counterbalance Operator, the requirements are varied but not limited to:
Responsibilities
- Accurately and safely operating a Counterbalance truck within site health and safety requirements at all times.
- Rotating stock, Loading & unloading of HGV deliveries, storing and collecting products from pallets with use of CB Truck & handheld scanners.
- Working within a team to complete daily warehouse targets.
- Delivering a high standard of productivity at all times to ensure smooth operation within the warehouse.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating Counterbalance Trucks is essential.
- FLT Counterbalance licence holder is essential.
- Previous experience with hand scanners is essential.
- Must be reliable and committed.
- Must be able to communicate in English to a high standard (verbal and written).
- Flexible approach to duties and tasks.
Hours & Pay
- Hours - (FIXED AFTERNOONS) 12pm-10pm Monday to Friday.
- Pay - (FIXED AFTERNOONS) £13.25ph. Overtime - (All overtime is optional) Saturdays 1.5x basic rate, Sundays 2.0x basic rate.
