We're looking for a Customer, Sales & Accounts Administrator to join our team in Trafford Park. This is a varied part-time role with a 70/30 split: 70% Customer Service & Sales Administration and 30% Basic Accounts & Finance Administration.

You'll be responsible for supporting customers, processing orders, assisting the sales team and helping with day-to-day accounts administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deal with customer enquiries by phone, email and in person
  • Provide a friendly, professional and helpful service
  • Handle customer queries and complaints
  • Resolve issues where possible and escape when required
  • Process customer orders from enquiry through to delivery
  • Prepare quotations, invoices and delivery notes
  • Liaise with warehouse and purchasing teams
  • Keep customers updated on order and delivery progress
  • Maintain accurate customer records and CRM information
  • Support the sales team with administration
  • Help manage and follow up sales leads
  • Assist with customer communications, promotions and campaigns
  • Record customer feedback and help identify ways to improve service

Accounts & Finance - 30%

  • Monitor and manage the company accounts inbox
  • Respond to or direct accounts queries
  • Upload supplier invoices and financial documents into Xero
  • Carry out basic accounts administration in Xero
  • Check invoice information for accuracy
  • Match or allocate transactions where appropriate
  • Deal with customer and supplier account queries
  • Assist with invoice and payment queries
  • Follow up outstanding issues
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers and internal teams
  • Support the wider accounts function with general administration

Hours & Contract

Monday, Tuesday and Friday Approximately 5 hours per day. Flexibility to increase to 6 hours per day for the right candidate. We’re flexible on the exact start and finish times. Temporary position initially, with the opportunity to become permanent.
