Responsibilities
- Working on a variety of machinery primarily guillotines, ensuring the machines are working to capacity and maximising efficiency.
- Running a Polar or Wohlenberg Guillotine.
- Dependent on business needs there could be future opportunities to train/operate other machinery such as hand-fed platens, and automatic die-cutting machines.
- Ensuring production orders are completed on time and in full, whilst maintaining accurate stock control.
- Maintaining and monitoring machinery.
- Packing and bundling materials, including manual handling.
- Following our procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
- Ideally would like someone with previous experience of running a Polar or Wohlenberg Guillotine.
- Would consider someone who is looking to be trained up.
- Standards and results driven individual, capable of working in a multi-skilled position, as part of a small, but busy team.
- A good understanding of health and safety techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Team player behaviours (flexible with time and tasks, and able to work collaboratively).
- Proven track record of being reliable.
