Trafford Leisure is seeking an experienced Interim Project Manager to support the delivery of a new padel court development at Altrincham Golf Course. This is a short-term, delivery-focused role with a clear objective: drive progress on a live project and lead it through to successful operational launch.
Contract: 12 weeks
Hours: 1 day per week (flexible)
Location: Altrincham Golf Course / Support Office
Pay: Market-aligned day rate (PAYE or self-employed)
Start: Immediate preferred
About the role
- You will take ownership of a live project, coordinating contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure delivery on time and within budget.
- You will manage project plans, risks, and reporting, while leading the transition from construction into operational readiness.
- This position has been created to maintain momentum following a change in project resource, and will suit someone comfortable working independently and adding value quickly.

- Lead end-to-end delivery of the padel court installation project
- Coordinate contractors, partners, and internal teams

- Support operational setup and readiness for launch

- Proven project management experience, ideally within leisure, sport, or construction
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Able to work independently and deliver with limited weekly input
- Experience of facility launch or mobilisation is an advantage
