Location: Move Altrincham. Rate: £13 per hour. Hours: 36.25 per week.

Responsibilities
  • Champion inclusive practice at Move Altrincham by working closely with the site team, families and partners to enable children and young people with SEND, neurodivergent individuals, and those facing barriers to participation to access programmes and facilities.
  • Support staff with inclusive approaches and coordinate access audits.
  • Develop assessment tools for swimming and gymnastics to embed inclusive practice and improve health outcomes for people with SEND.
Ideal Candidate
  • Passionate about inclusion and accessibility, with a strong commitment to equity, diversity, and the social model of disability.
  • Experienced in working with children and young people with SEND in education, health, or community settings, or can bring lived experience of disability, neurodiversity, or supporting someone with SEND.
  • A confident communicator who can build positive relationships with families, staff, and external partners.
  • Organised, proactive, and solution-focused, able to coordinate projects that improve participation and wellbeing.
Essential Requirements
  • Experience working with children and young people with SEND (professional or lived experience considered).
  • Knowledge of inclusive practice and reasonable adjustments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to deliver training and support staff confidently.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • (Training in SEND, neurodiversity, safeguarding, and EEDI will be provided if not already held.)
