Contract role
Vitalis are recruiting for an experienced Tenancy Support Officer to work in a team in Trafford Council.
In the role of Tenancy Support Officer, you will provide assistance in finding accommodation for clients with an offending history and continue to support them in their own homes by empowering the client with the skills to lead an independent life within the community to be able to maintain their tenancy.
You will also be expected to provide a comprehensive support assessment, a holistic support plan and review meetings for the clients.
We want someone with 1-2 years' experience in a similar role delivering homelessness prevention, resettlement and housing related support services with proven experience of working within a multi-functional team, with partners to deliver a range of services to a diverse community.
We also want people with experience of successfully meeting individual set targets for key tenancy support areas, including:
- tenancy sustainment
- financial inclusion
- health
- education and employment
- safeguarding
- delivering homelessness prevention
- resettlement and housing related support services
