Start date September 2026. Band 4 SCP 12–17. Full Time, Term Time Only 36.25 hours per week. Initially a one‑year fixed‑term contract with possibility of becoming permanent.

About the role

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant in our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) nursery, you will support children aged 3‑5 in their learning and development across all seven areas of the EYFS framework. You will work closely with our experienced EYFS team to:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, child‑led learning experiences
  • Build strong, nurturing relationships with children
  • Support their personal, social and emotional development (including those with SEND or facing barriers to learning)
  • Contribute to observations, assessments and next‑steps planning
  • Create stimulating learning environments indoors and outdoors
  • Partner with parents and carers to support each child’s individual journey

Required qualifications and experience

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent (essential)
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the EYFS framework and early childhood development
  • Experience of working with children aged 3–5 in an educational setting
  • Understanding of how young children learn through play and exploration
