Kings Road Primary School is seeking to recruit an experienced and highly motivated School Business Manager. Candidates will be expected to promote the highest standards of business ethos within the administrative and financial functions of the school and will strategically ensure the most effective use of resources in support of the school’s learning objectives.
The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing financial, HR/administrative services and providing professional leadership and management of the business and midday team. In addition, they will co-ordinate the management of health and safety practices and premises management within the school and have developed analytical and personal skills required to interpret the varied and complex situations this role may offer.
The successful post holder must have:
- Knowledge of theory and practice of business administration management.
- Extensive experience and expertise in finance, procurement, administration, HR and Health and Safety.
- Have gained or be working towards Level 4 Diploma in School Business Management (DSBM).
- Significant support staff and premises managerial experience.
The post holder will be expected to be sympathetic to the aims and the ethos of the school. All employees are expected to treat children, young people and colleagues with respect and dignity and contribute to the creation of a supportive learning environment.
