To start as soon as possible, we are looking to appoint a Male Teacher of PE on a full-time permanent basis. There has never been a better time to join Lostock High School, which is determined to develop as a popular school of choice for our community.

We are looking for an outstanding teacher who has a true passion for P.E., inclusion, and education. The PE department has a strong team with a range of experience in various sports, including cricket, basketball, handball, football, dance, and gymnastics. The successful candidate will be a well-qualified graduate or teacher who can contribute to the further development of the department and the range of sports offered, in addition to participating in extra-curricular activities.

A full programme of training will be provided. Experience of teaching across Key Stage Three and Four is essential. The department is dynamic and forward-thinking, eager to see pupils succeed. We are looking for commitment to improving life chances for young people, as well as commitment to your own professional development.

You will be well supported by the Senior Leadership Team focused on teaching and learning, and by a comprehensive programme of induction and training to ensure your individual needs are met.
