Start Date: 2 September 2026 - This position is temporary until July 2027 in the first instance, with the potential to be permanent for the right candidate.
Scale 1 scp 3 - £24,796 per annum pro rata, 15 hours per week, Mon-Fri 3.00-6.00pm, Term Time Only.
We wish to appoint an enthusiastic, energetic, kind and patient Play Leader for our after-school provision.
We would like someone who can:
- supervise and play with the children, organising fun activities and ensure their safety at all times
- provide a safe and caring environment for children in the club, including those with special educational needs
- inspire and motivate children
- be flexible and organised

The person we want will:
- have experience relevant to the role
- a Level 3 qualification in childcare or equivalent
- have a thorough understanding of Safeguarding children
- have experience of working with and planning recreational activities for children aged 3 to 11
- be able to work on their own initiative
- hold a food hygiene certificate (or be willing to undertake the training)
