About the Role
Our Best Start Family Hubs provide a welcoming space where families can access a range of integrated services, advice and support. We are looking for a motivated and highly organised administrator to join our team as a Business Support Officer. You will play a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the Family Hubs. Based primarily at Best Start Family Hub West in Partington, you will also provide support across Trafford’s Family Hub Network.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing comprehensive administrative support to the Family Hubs team
- Supporting the coordination of hub activities, meetings and events
- Maintaining accurate records and databases, ensuring data quality and compliance
- Supporting financial processes including purchase orders, invoices and budget monitoring
- Assisting in the development and maintenance of efficient business systems and processes
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and partners to support service delivery across the Family Hub Network in Trafford
- Delivering excellent customer service to families and professionals
About You
- Experienced in an administrative or business support role
- A confident communicator with strong verbal and written skills
- Able to build positive relationships with colleagues, partners and families
- Experienced in financial admin using financial systems and processes
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- IT proficient, with excellent skills in Microsoft Office and business systems
Additional Information
An enhanced DBS Check with children/adults barred list will be required. This role is office based at Best Start Family Hub West (Partington) with occasional support also required at Best Start Family Hub North (Stretford).
