Ashton on Mersey School is part of The Dean Trust serving the community of Sale and beyond.
The role supports pupils, especially those with SEND, within the classroom or outside teaching areas, and may supervise groups in non‑teaching situations.
Responsibilities
- Work under instruction/guidance of teaching/senior staff to undertake work/care/support programmes, enabling access to learning for pupils.
- Assist the teacher in managing pupils and the classroom environment.
- Supervise groups of pupils during non‑teaching activities when required.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills
- Strong commitment to supporting all pupils, particularly those with SEND.
