About the Role… Our Best Start Family Hubs provide a welcoming space where families can access a range of integrated services, advice and support. We are looking for a motivated and highly organised administrator to join our team as a Business Support Officer. You will play a key role in supporting the smooth day‑to‑day operation of the Family Hubs. Based primarily at Best Start Family Hub West in Partington, you will also provide support across Trafford’s Family Hub Network.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing comprehensive administrative support to the Family Hubs team
- Supporting the coordination of hub activities, meetings and events
- Maintaining accurate records and databases, ensuring data quality and compliance
- Supporting financial processes including purchase orders, invoices and budget monitoring
- Assisting in the development and maintenance of efficient business systems and processes
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and partners to support service delivery across the Family Hub Network in Trafford
- Delivering excellent customer service to families and professionals.
About You… You will deliver high‑quality administrative and business support, ensuring effective systems, communication and processes are in place to support staff, partners and families. We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in an administrative or business support role
- A confident communicator with strong verbal and written skills
- Able to build positive relationships with colleagues, partners and families
- Experienced in financial admin using financial systems and processes
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- IT proficient, with excellent skills in Microsoft Office and business systems.
Additional Information
An enhanced DBS Check with children/adults barred list will be required. This role is office based at Best Start Family Hub West (Partington) with occasional support also required at Best Start Family Hub North (Stretford).
