You will have proven experience providing support to a team or function, using administrative and financial systems and processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Ability to independently prepare professional PowerPoint presentations and comprehensive reports with clarity and precision. Ability to confidently use Microsoft 365 tools for collaboration and document management, along with familiarity with social media platforms for communication and engagement purposes. You will demonstrate strong active listening and excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), with the ability to produce high‑quality, detail‑oriented materials such as letters, information bulletins, and meeting minutes.

About the Role: As a Business Change Support Officer, you will work within the PMO providing comprehensive administrative, project and programme support to the Transformation team and the projects they manage. In addition, part of your time will be dedicated to supporting the Assistant Director with key pieces of work, contributing to the successful delivery of change initiatives. You will support the implementation of business change projects to assist in the provision, development and implementation of the project deliverables. You will manage governance reporting from within the Transformation programme to senior boards and ensure quality and consistency in reporting and minuting across all programmes. You will assist team members with research and obtaining benchmarking information, and gathering and analysing information and data on costs, resources and performance in defined service areas to develop business cases, project plans, resource and risk assessments for specific projects within the programme. Act as a key point‑of‑contact for software used by the team, support with training and development, and with administration of the software.

Additional Information: Willingness to travel to different sites across the borough. This role supports hybrid working, requiring a minimum of two days per week based at a Trafford Council building. For an informal chat about the role, please contact Grace Maliti at Grace.Maliti@trafford.gov.uk.
