The Trafford and Stockport College Group (TSCG) has an opportunity for an experienced Trainer Assessor in Industry Skills to join the team to help us achieve our vision of unlocking potential and fostering success.

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and committed Trainer Assessor to support the delivery of high-quality adult skills programmes across Greater Manchester. This full-time role on a 12 month fixed term basis is an exciting opportunity to work alongside the Programme Leader for Industry Skills in helping adults gain the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills needed to progress into meaningful employment or further training. You will be responsible for delivering and assessing a range of adult-focused qualifications and short courses in areas such as Adult Employability Skills, Digital Skills, Professional Development, and sector-specific training. You’ll work across various delivery models, including classroom, online, and employer-based settings, ensuring that learning is accessible, engaging, and aligned with industry needs.

This role requires someone who is confident in working with adult learners, with the ability to motivate, coach, and assess individuals from a wide range of backgrounds. You’ll be organised, responsive, and committed to supporting learners to achieve their goals. Experience in adult education or work-based learning is essential, alongside relevant assessing qualifications. A teaching qualification is desirable.
