The Role

As a technician in Construction Trades, you will provide high quality support in construction workshops to enable the Group to meet the standards required in practical classes. Responsibilities include ensuring stock levels of tools and equipment are maintained, auditing the storeroom, and facilitating the delivery of workshops supporting teaching staff. Team working and communication within an overall collaborative approach that values people will be of key importance.

About You

  • Passionate about your specialist subject, sharing your knowledge, skills and experience, and enthusiastic about supporting apprentices.
  • Level 2 or 3 qualification in a construction trade or equivalent industry experience.
  • Qualified to Level 2, ideally with literacy and numeracy at Level 2.
  • A relevant and current First Aid qualification and Fire Marshall training, or willingness to undertake such training, is desirable.
