Hours: 36.25 hours per week. Permanent Full-Time. (Term Time only working 37.65 weeks per year)

Salary: £26,934 - £29,505 FTE (£23,914.28 – £26,197.04 prorated)

Employer Pension Contribution: 15% FTE

The Trafford & Stockport College Group (TSCG) has an opportunity for an experienced Work Experience Coordinator to join the Careers and Employability Team to help us achieve our vision of unlocking potential for successful futures.

You will liaise with organisations to identify and secure work experience opportunities for students in our Construction departments across Stockport and Stretford and will split your time between both campuses; you will also work closely with curriculum teams and managers to facilitate a well-planned work experience programme. As an important part of your role is administrative and ensuring work placements are recorded, you must be able to multitask, be organised and have strong attention to detail.

We are looking for someone who has a proven track record of success in the employability, recruitment or work experience field (or similar), who has previous outstanding business development skills; the ability to liaise effectively with employers and other agencies. In addition, you will have previous experience of identifying the knowledge and skills of learners and coaching and supporting learners to ensure they receive quality work experience placements. To be successful in this role you must have Maths and English at Level 2 or equivalent.
