About the Department: Trafford & Stockport College Group (TSCG) seeks an experienced Lecturer to join the Adult ESOL team in the Department of ESOL, Lifelong Learning & Skills Development.
Responsibilities:
- Delivery to Adult ESOL learners.
- Teaching and assessing ESOL and Maths from pre-entry to level 2.
- Using a range of traditional delivery methods and strong digital skills.
- Involvement in the whole assessment process from Initial Assessment to the IQA process.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Passion for teaching adult ESOL learners.
- Ambitious, proactive and collaborative.
- PGCE (or equivalent) with an ESOL subject specialism, or equivalent qualification.
- Experience working in a Further Education setting and supporting vulnerable learners.
- Thorough understanding of the ESOL Core Curriculum across different levels.
- Experience in teaching maths within the ESOL context.
