The Trafford & Stockport College Group (TSCG) has a fantastic opportunity for a Learning Facilitator to be based at our Stockport and Cheadle campuses. In this challenging and rewarding role you will work as part of the Inclusion Team to support young people and adults with additional needs (including SEMH needs – social, emotional and mental health), enabling them to access education and to increase their independence.

The Role
You will work closely with tutors to effectively facilitate the learning process on a range of courses, enabling groups and individuals with differing needs and disabilities to achieve their learning objectives. You will support English and Maths skills as appropriate using differentiation techniques and work with identified students supporting the delivery of objectives within Education Health Care plans. You will respond to student enquiries and provide advice on learning opportunities and support systems and work co-operatively with other areas of the Group to provide a corporate Group service.
To be successful in this position you must have a Level 2 Learning Support Qualification (or be willing to achieve within 2 years) and level 2 Maths and English (or be prepared to work towards).
