The Trafford & Stockport College Group (TSCG) has an opportunity for a Careers Advisor to provide a comprehensive Information, Advice and Guidance Service for all clients of the Group, contributing to success, achievement, retention and progression.

About the role
You will provide an impartial initial guidance service for prospective learners considering enrolling at the Trafford and Stockport College Group to assist them in choosing a relevant course of study. In addition, you will provide an on‑going, impartial in‑depth guidance service to learners of all ages and backgrounds with differentiated, targeted follow‑up support. You'll also offer early interventions for learners who are at risk of becoming NEET or are otherwise vulnerable. The successful candidate will use relevant career guidance models to support learners at appropriate times during and after their studies to ensure they progress onto the right education, apprenticeship or employment destination for them. You must hold a Level 6 Career Guidance qualification and Level 2 Maths and English.

In certain cases, it may be appropriate to appoint to a higher point in the pay grade at the discretion of the Director of HR & Performance due to the candidate’s current salary, experience or qualifications.
