The Trafford and Stockport College Group (TSCG) is looking for an exceptional writer to lead on PR strategies for our college Group. We are an ambitious organisation whose purpose is ‘unlocking potential for successful futures’.
About the Role
As our communications expert, you will lead our PR strategies, news and award entries, helping to share our brand story, promote our impact and shape our Group ‘voice’. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a proactive PR strategy that strengthens our reputation as a leading education provider, employer, and community partner. You will manage media relations, enhance our external presence, and ensure consistent messaging across all communication platforms. Your ability to create engaging news stories, feature content, and thought leadership pieces will be crucial in promoting our achievements and strategic initiatives. About You
- You will be an outstanding communicator, with excellent copywriting skills and a successful track record in developing engaging content across a wide range of platforms, both online and offline.
- You will strive to raise the profile of the Group and proactively generate positive and engaging media coverage across print, broadcast, digital and social channels.
- You will be an experienced and confident writer, comfortable developing content for social media and writing copy for press releases, as well as contributing to strategic discussions and campaigns.
- You will be a brand champion, passionate about the impact learning has on people’s lives and driven to explore the inspiring stories at the heart of our organisation.
- You will be an independent and creative thinker, who enjoys working on their own initiative as well as part of a team. You must enjoy rolling your sleeves up and getting stuck in!
