Location: Trafford and Stockport College Group – Altrincham and Stockport campuses (potential for deployment at other sites if required and mutually agreed)

The Role:

  • Work as part of the highly experienced GCSE English team to deliver high‑quality, learner‑focused education.
  • Support learners in improving their GCSE English skills and achieving a Grade 4.
  • Develop the curriculum and implement effective teaching and learning strategies to enable students to succeed.

Requirements:

  • Experience teaching GCSE English (post‑16 or Secondary GCSE) preferred.
  • English degree not required but evidence of subject specialism in related disciplines necessary.
  • Suitable for Newly Qualified Teachers or experienced practitioners.
  • Commitment to inclusive and supportive learning environment.
