Role: Health and Social Care Lecturer – Nursing Background
Hours: Full time and Part time hours available.
Salary: £33,351.00 – £47,397.00 FTE
Location: Altrincham with the ability to travel to other campuses

The Role:
We are seeking an inspiring and dedicated Lecturer in Health and Social Care to join our dynamic teaching team. It is advantageous if you have a foundation in nursing or a science-related discipline who is passionate about shaping the next generation of health and care professionals. You will deliver engaging and inclusive teaching across a range of qualifications including NCFE CACHE, and T Level Health, with a focus on applied science, anatomy and physiology, and person-centred care.
You will contribute to curriculum development, support learners through their academic journey, and bring real-world insight into the classroom. Whether delivering lessons on safeguarding, communication in care, or the science behind health interventions, your expertise will help students connect theory to practice.

About You
You are a qualified to at least level 3 in HSC, nursing or hold a degree in a science-related field such as healthcare science, biology, or public health. You bring at least 3–5 years of teaching or clinical experience and hold (or are working towards) a recognised teaching qualification such as a PGCE or teaching qual. You are confident delivering Level 2 and 3 content and have a strong grasp of current sector standards, including safeguarding, equality and diversity, and inclusive practice.
You are a reflective practitioner who values collaboration and continuous improvement. You understand the importance of supporting learners from diverse backgrounds and are committed to helping them achieve their full potential. Your ability to translate complex concepts into accessible, engaging learning experiences sets you apart.
