The Role

Primarily, you will be working with learners on our Full‑Time GCSE and A Level programmes, delivering high‑quality teaching that supports learners from a wide range of backgrounds and starting points to achieve their potential. You will work with highly motivated and aspirational learners, many of whom progress to university, higher‑level study, apprenticeships, and skilled employment. As an inclusive college, we are proud of our diverse learner community and are committed to creating a supportive environment where all learners can thrive and succeed. This role requires delivering high quality, learner‑focused education that provides a quality learning experience for our students. You will develop the curriculum and implement teaching and learning strategies that enable our students to succeed and thrive in their chosen subject area.

You will be passionate about your subject area and committed to delivering high‑quality teaching that enables learners on Full‑Time GCSE and A Level programmes to make strong progress and achieve ambitious outcomes. You have the ability to motivate and support learners from a wide range of backgrounds and starting points, using effective teaching, assessment, and academic support strategies to help all learners succeed. You will be a strong team player who communicates effectively with colleagues, contributes positively to a busy and ambitious department, and demonstrates a proactive, resilient, and learner‑focused approach to challenges.
