Hours: 36.25 hours per week (full-time)

Salary: £25,260-£25,896 per annum

Employer Pension Contribution: 20.8% (£5,254.05-£5,386.37)

Location: Altrincham (travel will be required to other campuses across the group)

The Trafford & Stockport College Group (TSCG) has an opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety Administrator to join the Estates team to help us achieve our vision of unlocking potential and fostering success.

The Role

In this role you will undertake a range of duties to ensure effective health and safety performance in attaining the highest possible standards to help minimise and prevent risk. Key areas of responsibility include:

  • To support in ensuring that all Policies and Procedures are developed to enable the achievement of strategic aims and objectives
  • To support in the effective operation of internal Management Systems
  • Work closely with the Head of Health & Safety to ensure that all issues relating to the Estates function are addressed and the responses are prioritised
  • To support in the management of First Aid provision and Fire Safety Management
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with approved Contractors across the Group
  • To arrange regular building evacuations, ensuring adequate arrangements are in place across all Campuses
  • To provide effective administrative support to the Director of Premises and Estates Management Team
  • To carry out any other duties that may be reasonably required, commensurate with the grade at the initial place of work or at other locations within the Group’s catchment area

About you:

You will be an experienced H&S Administrator (IOSH Managing Safely), who has proven experience in ensuring effective implementation and monitoring of all aspects of H&S management across the Group. An IOSH Managing safely qualification is essential for the role.
