Hours: 23.5 hours per week (Working 37.65 weeks per year, paid for 46.17 weeks to include annual leave accrual)

Salary: £33,024-£35,103 Full Time Equivalent (Pro Rata Salary- £16,853.62 - £17,914.63)

Pension: 15%

Location: Trafford and Stockport College Group (Based at Altrincham & Stretford with travel to other campuses as required)

About the role

  • Provide an impartial initial guidance service for prospective learners considering enrolling at the Trafford and Stockport College Group to assist them in choosing a relevant course of study.
  • Deliver ongoing, impartial in-depth guidance to learners of all ages and backgrounds, offering differentiated, targeted follow-up support and early interventions for learners at risk of becoming NEET or otherwise vulnerable.
  • Use relevant career guidance models to support learners at appropriate times during and after their studies to ensure they progress onto the right education, apprenticeship or employment destination.

Responsibilities

  • Offer initial information, advice and guidance to prospective learners.
  • Provide ongoing, impartial guidance and targeted support to learners of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Identify and deliver early interventions for at-risk learners.
  • Facilitate transition planning and career pathways for current students.

Qualifications

  • Level 6 Career Guidance qualification.
  • Level 2 Maths and English.
