About the role
- Provide an impartial initial guidance service for prospective learners considering enrolling at the Trafford and Stockport College Group to assist them in choosing a relevant course of study.
- Deliver ongoing, impartial in-depth guidance to learners of all ages and backgrounds, offering differentiated, targeted follow-up support and early interventions for learners at risk of becoming NEET or otherwise vulnerable.
- Use relevant career guidance models to support learners at appropriate times during and after their studies to ensure they progress onto the right education, apprenticeship or employment destination.
Responsibilities
- Offer initial information, advice and guidance to prospective learners.
- Provide ongoing, impartial guidance and targeted support to learners of all ages and backgrounds.
- Identify and deliver early interventions for at-risk learners.
- Facilitate transition planning and career pathways for current students.
