The
Role: We are seeking an outstanding Teacher - Mathematics to join our thriving academic team at our Marple Campus.
You will be passionate about your subject, committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning, and dedicated to ensuring that every student achieves their full potential.
The successful candidate will possess excellent subject knowledge, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire students across a range of ability levels.
You will have high expectations of learner achievement and be committed to creating a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
The role includes
- Delivering A Level Mathematics to Year 12 and Year 13 students.
- Teaching A Level Further Mathematics, supporting students to achieve excellent outcomes and progression opportunities.
- Delivering GCSE Mathematics to our accelerated Academic Foundation Programme students, who complete four GCSEs in one year before progressing onto A Level pathways.
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons that challenge, stretch and support learners to reach their full potential.
- Monitoring student progress and providing timely, effective feedback to maximise achievement.
- Contributing to the continued development of Maths provision and sharing best practice within the department.
- Contributing to enrichment activities, revision programmes and wider academic initiatives that enhance the student experience.
