Hours: 35 hours per week (24 hours teaching / 11 hours departmental duties)

Salary: 1.0 FTE Lecturer - scale 2 (£35,019 - £49,767)

Pension contribution: 28.68% (FTE)

Location: Altrincham and Stockport campuses (potential for deployment at other sites if required and mutually agreed)

The Role

Working as part of our highly experienced GCSE English team, you will deliver high quality, learner‑focused education. You will develop the curriculum and implement teaching and learning strategies to enable students to succeed and thrive.

About you

We look for individuals with a passion for English and experience teaching GCSE or Secondary English post‑16. An English degree is not essential but evidence of subject specialism is required. This role is suitable for newly qualified teachers or experienced practitioners.
