About the Role
We’re looking for a Product Owner to shape the evolution of our Data Platform — enabling reliable data, actionable insights, and smarter decisions across the business. The ideal candidate combines product ownership discipline with a strong grasp of data concepts, quality, and usability. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, analytics, and commercial teams to ensure our data platform becomes a trusted foundation for the company’s strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the Data Platform roadmap, ensuring it delivers trusted, accessible, and business-ready data.
- Define priorities and requirements that improve data accuracy, consistency, and availability.
- Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to deliver scalable, well-governed data solutions.
- Drive initiatives that unify data across systems to support analysis, reporting, and activation.
- Translate stakeholder needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and measurable outcomes.
- Track key platform indicators such as data coverage, freshness, and reliability.
Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a data or platform environment.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, ingestion, and transformation principles.
- Proven experience collaborating with data engineering and analytics teams.
- Ability to connect business goals with underlying data capabilities.
- Skilled in backlog management, prioritisation, and stakeholder alignment.
- Familiarity with modern cloud-based data ecosystems (e.g. AWS, Snowflake, dbt).
