The predicted salary is between 28800 - 48000 £ per year.
As Production Engineer, you will ensure all manufacturing requirements are communicated in detail through the relevant departments and provide support throughout the organisation.
The Production Engineer will be responsible for:
- Creating FMEA’s, Process Flows, Control Plans, Work Instructions, Gauge Instructions, Packing Instructions, and other process documents.
- NPI projects from initial process design and layout stage, through to full launch.
- Dealing with new and existing suppliers to introduce new machines, tools and equipment.
- Buy-off process for new machines and tools.
- Poka Yoke systems to meet customer expectations.
- Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) on current production.
The successful candidate should be educated to degree level in engineering or HNC/HND with relevant Lean / CI project experience. You should also have excellent communication skills as this role will be the direct interface between manufacturing and the client.
