A phenomenal opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Manufacturing Engineer to join an internationally established automotive manufacturer. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to build a long-term career within manufacturing engineering.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development, implementation and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes. Further responsibilities will include:
- Support the design, development, and optimisation of manufacturing processes
- Assist with the introduction of new products from design into production (NPI)
- Create and maintain manufacturing documentation including standard operation procedures and work instructions
- Drive continuous improvement activities (Lean, Six Sigma, root cause analysis)
It is essential that candidates are degree educated within an engineering discipline (Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering). A placement year throughout your degree would be advantageous but not essential. However, applications are also welcomed from apprentice trained engineers who have 1-2 years experience post apprenticeship within industry.
