The Role
Due to continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for an Internal Account Manager to join the Sales team. This is a balanced role combining customer service, internal sales and account development, supporting Regional and National Account Managers while building strong relationships with depot-level buyers and order placers. You will spend time responding to inbound enquiries and quotations, while also working proactively with customers to identify opportunities, introduce new products and strengthen partnerships.
What You Will Be Doing
- Acting as a key point of contact for customers, providing friendly, professional and responsive support
- Handling inbound enquiries and preparing accurate quotations across a wide product range
- Advising customers on suitable products, branding options and tailored solutions
- Working closely with Regional and National Account Managers to support account goals
- Building a good understanding of customer usage to spot opportunities for growth
- Following up quotations and enquiries to support conversion and customer satisfaction
- Proactively speaking with customers by phone to build rapport and resolve queries quickly
- Accurately recording activity, quotations and notes in the CRM system
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure customers receive a seamless service
- Keeping product knowledge up to date, including safety and compliance requirements
What We Are Looking For
- At least 2 years experience in an internal sales, sales support or customer-facing commercial role
- Confident communicator, comfortable speaking with customers by phone and email
- Well organised, with strong attention to detail
- Able to juggle multiple enquiries in a fast-moving environment
- Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
