Tradition is the interdealer broking arm of Compagnie Financière Tradition and one of the world's largest interdealer brokers in over-the-counter financial and commodity related products. Tradition is currently seeking to appoint a Business Support Coordinator to be based within the London office. Main responsibilities within the Business Support Coordinator position include:

  • Executive & Strategic Support
    • Provide coordination and administrative support to the UK CEO/COO in the delivery of strategic and operational initiatives.
    • Track and follow up on key actions arising from executive meetings, ensuring deadlines are met.
    • Assist in the preparation of papers, briefings, and management information (MI) in line with Tradition Group standards.
  • Governance & Regulatory Framework (SMCR)
    • Support the administration of the Senior Managers & Certification Regime (SMCR), including coordinating meetings and maintaining documentation.
    • Assist in coordinating SMCR-related activities across Compliance, Risk, Legal, and Executive teams.
    • Provide support for regulatory engagements, audits, and supervisory requests.
  • Policy Framework Management
    • Support the maintenance of the UK Policy Framework, ensuring policies are up to date and appropriately documented.
    • Coordinate policy review cycles and approvals with relevant stakeholders.
  • Management Information & Reporting
    • Assist in the production of executive MI, reports, and dashboards for the CEO/COO.
    • Support the coordination of reporting for Board, Audit Committee, and Risk Committee meetings.
    • Help ensure MI is accurate, timely, and clearly presented.
  • Committee & Meeting Management
    • Coordinate agendas, papers, and actions for governance meetings, including the Monthly Support Group Meeting.
    • Support the effective running of governance forums, ensuring materials are prepared and distributed on time.
  • Stakeholder Management & Liaison
    • Act as a point of contact for coordination across Front Office and Business Support functions (Legal, Compliance, Finance, HR, Risk, Internal Audit).
    • Support communication and information flow between the UK Executive and wider Tradition Group stakeholders.
  • Executive Office & Diary Coordination
    • Work closely with Executive Assistants to support scheduling of governance meetings and efficient diary management.
    • Ensure timely distribution of meeting materials and accurate attendance records.
  • Document & Information Management
    • Support the management of executive and governance documentation in line with internal standards.
    • Maintain records of key corporate and regulatory documents, ensuring appropriate storage and version control.
    • Assist in managing SharePoint sites, including document organisation and access permissions.
    • Support responses to document requests from regulators, auditors, and internal stakeholders.

Key skills, experience and competencies required to be successful in this role:

  • Experience in an administrative, coordinator, or business support role (financial services experience beneficial but not essential).
  • Basic understanding of UK regulatory frameworks (e.g. SMCR) and corporate governance is advantageous.
  • Experience supporting reporting, MI production, or preparing meeting materials.
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills with high attention to detail.
  • Good stakeholder communication skills across a range of functions.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity.
  • Proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop.
