Tradition is the interdealer broking arm of Compagnie Financière Tradition and one of the world's largest interdealer brokers in over-the-counter financial and commodity related products. Tradition is offering candidates a unique opportunity to experience the dynamic and exciting industry of broking by joining our broker training programme. Our comprehensive programme in the highly competitive world of finance offers an excellent start to your career as a broker. The programme gives you exposure to an extensive range of products and an opportunity to network with highly-experienced industry professionals. You will gain an insight into the day-to-day reality of broking through multi-product work shadowing, formal tutorials and interactive simulated broking sessions.
Tradition’s Broker Training Programme will once again be rotating around London and European cities. As well as offering opportunities across many asset classes, students will have the chance of being offered a position in any of the locations that are participating in the programme if they are successful. The programme will run for approximately 4 months, and will give hands-on experience of the challenges that are faced when working in a constantly evolving industry. You will be supported by mentors throughout your journey and we will arrange regular progress checkpoints to provide you with feedback to guide you in the right direction.
Interns will sit formal exams sponsored by the company, and undergo normal checks in line with FCA requirements. At the end of the programme permanent employment will be offered to successful entrants that have proven their ability. All applicants must be available for a September 2026 start date and be looking for full-time employment at the end of the programme, as well as being available for interviews between November and March.
