The Role

We are seeking a Release Manager to own the end-to-end release process and serve as the central point of accountability for how changes move from development into production. Sitting within our Product function, you will be the custodian of release quality, cadence and governance across a platform that underpins our clients' regulatory and compliance obligations. This is a senior, process-driven role with responsibility for coordinating fortnightly releases across distributed engineering teams and driving continuous improvement in release discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Own and refine the end-to-end release process across teams and regions.
  • Coordinate releases, ensuring testing, QA and sign-off are completed ahead of deployment.
  • Enforce release governance, change-control standards and deployment procedures.
  • Lead incident response and post-mortems, driving continuous improvement.
  • Track release metrics and improve release tooling, automation and processes.
  • Communicate release status, risks and outcomes to stakeholders across the business.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Release Manager within software, fintech or other technology-led environments.
  • Track record of owning end-to-end release processes for complex, business-critical systems.
  • Experience coordinating testing, deployment and change management across multiple teams.
  • Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices, including CI/CD and automated testing.
  • Experience leading incident response and driving improvements to release quality and delivery.
  • Strong working knowledge of Jira, Confluence and Agile delivery methodologies.
